This policy explains what information Real Crop Image ("we", "us") handles when you use realcropimage.com (the "Site"), and what we do with it.
Your images stay on your device
When you open, paste or drop an image into the cropper, it is read by your browser and processed locally using the HTML5 canvas. Cropping, rotating, resizing and exporting all happen inside your browser tab. Your images are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to view, copy or keep them. When you close or reload the tab, the image is gone from the Site.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require an account, so we hold no names, passwords or profiles.
- We do not run advertising scripts.
- We do not collect the content, file names or metadata of the images you crop.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the Site and which pages they use. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as_ga) and collects standard usage data, such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. It never receives your images or their file names. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings, a content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the cropper keeps working.
Information stored in your browser
If you switch between light and dark mode, the Site remembers your choice in your browser's local storage under the key theme. This value never leaves your device, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Clipboard access
When you choose to paste an image or use "Copy", your browser may ask permission to use the clipboard. The Site only reads or writes the clipboard when you take one of these actions, and the image stays on your device.
Server logs
Like any website, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers may automatically record standard technical data when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the Site secure and working, are kept for a limited time by the provider, and never include your images.
When you email us
If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Children
The Site is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the Site handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
