Why we built it
Cropping a photo should take seconds, but most online croppers start by uploading your file to their server. That is a strange trade for a passport picture, an ID scan or a family photo. We wanted a cropper that was as capable as a desktop editor and as private as one too.
So Real Crop Image works the other way round. The page loads once, and after that every crop, rotation and export happens inside your browser tab. There is no upload, no account, no watermark and no waiting for a server to send your file back.
What you can do with it
- Crop to 30+ ready-made sizes: common ratios, social media formats, passport, A4 and photo-print sizes, or your own custom ratio.
- Cut an image into a circle or rounded rectangle, or trace a freehand shape, with a transparent background in PNG.
- Straighten to 0.1°, rotate by 90° and flip, with auto-zoom so no empty corners end up in the result.
- Set the exact output size in pixels and watch a live file-size estimate to get under a limit in KB.
- Export PNG, JPG or WebP, download the file or copy it straight to your clipboard.
What we believe
Your images are yours. We never receive, store or look at the photos you crop. Simple beats clever. The editor does what you tell it to, with no AI guessing what you meant. Free means free. No sign-up, no trial and no paid tier hiding the useful features.
